Heidi Joy is a dynamic, genre-spanning vocalist known for her powerful, emotive voice and wide-ranging repertoire. As a former lead singer of the Arizona-based band The T-BoneZ, she performed everything from Linda Ronstadt and Brandi Carlile to Heart and Led Zeppelin — captivating audiences with her vocal range and warm, magnetic stage presence.

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Heidi began singing at age 6 — winning first place in the Omaha Show Wagon and landing her first newspaper photo. From early church solos and school musicals to her first paid wedding gig at 15, music has always been at the heart of her story. She went on to study Opera Performance at The University of Iowa, then returned to Omaha to launch a 20+ year music career that included five solo CDs, two Omaha Arts and Entertainment Awards (Best Gospel; Best Classical), performer at the beloved Jazz on the Green concert series, and countless performances across weddings, corporate events, private concerts, and major public stages.

Her style spans jazz, blues, funk, rock, opera, gospel, even a little country — and everything in between. Truly, she has sung it all.

A passionate performer and community advocate, Heidi produced and headlined a solo concert and silent auction that raised $50,000 for victims of the 2004 Southeast Asia tsunami. For 12 consecutive years, she brought her beloved annual holiday concert, Holiday Joy, to the children of Boys Town and audiences throughout Omaha — even taking the show all the way to Guam, where she and her band performed for active-duty Navy and their families. She was also honored to sing as a guest soloist with the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band.

Heidi has performed the National Anthem at countless high-profile events, including the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials, 12 consecutive College World Series, Creighton University Athletics, and most recently, the Cave Creek Rodeo in Arizona.

Since relocating to Phoenix in 2016, Heidi continues to bring joy to audiences across the Valley and beyond. She parted ways with The T-BoneZ in summer 2025 and launched Heidi & The Joy Riders, a new band that blends the best of every decade — from vintage soul to modern classics. She continues to sing at weddings, private events, and large public gatherings, including the annual Munds Park Independence Day Parade, where she performs alongside her daughter, Noela Rose.

Known for her heartfelt delivery and emotional connection to every song, Heidi has been called “the voice of an angel” by countless fans and couples alike.

Heidi Joy is a highly regarded Set Designer, Art Director, and Prop Stylist working in commercial film and advertising. Known for her versatility, work ethic, creative intuition, and calm demeanor on set, she is considered one of the go-to professionals in the Phoenix production scene — with demand for her work growing steadily year after year.

Heidi is a proud member of the Arizona Production Association (APA) and was a featured panelist for one of APA’s virtual industry training sessions. Whether designing lived-in home environments, leading art teams, or styling high-impact visuals, Heidi brings both professionalism and passion to every production.

Heidi Joy is an award-winning actor with a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, print, television, and film. Known for her grounded presence and natural versatility, she brings authenticity and nuance to every role — whether on screen or in print.

CREDITS: Her recent commercial and print work includes campaigns for Phoenix Magazine, Teravalis Master Planned Community, Hubster, Discount Tire, Visit Phoenix, Valle Luna, Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, Global Credit Union, Arizona Office of Tourism, and Super Star Car Wash.

Narrative credits include a starring role in the TV pilot Gladys & Dee Dee: Secrets, the female lead in the short film Against These Things, and a supporting role in Zarin. Heidi also served as moderator for the screening of the short film Toro de Oro, contributing her insight and voice to the Arizona film community.
